2014-2015 NLC Results

Competitive:

 

• Freshman Leesi Israel and Longan Loi compete in E-Business. 

• Juniors Richard Zhang and Jason Xu competed in Business Communication and Cyber Security, respectively.

• Sophomore Lexi Schneider , along with seniors Michael Deng and Martin Schneider competed in Mobile Application Development and placed 7th in the Nation.    This group not only created an amazing App specific to Upper Dublin High School, but they also presented the material to a panel of judges explain the uses and benefits of their design.   We hope to make this UDSD App available to the public soon.

• Senior Jen Xiao, Sophomore Nina Cheng and Freshman Kevin (Shizhuo) Duan competed in Virtual Business Management and placed 5th in the Nation.   And Sophomores Kyle Lee, Dennis Li and Dustin Zhang completed in Virtual Business Management, placed 3rd in the Nation and came home with a $300 prize.  These groups were tested on their skills of managing a business in the form of a simulation.  Each round consisted of just 20 minutes to set-up, manage, and earn the most profit they could while competing against 7 other teams with a large audience watching.  Both teams went undefeated until the Final round where they battled for the championship.
